  4. Malasana is an Ideal Yoga Asana for prenatal yoga.
  5. Garland  pose opens and strengthens the hips and groin.
  6. Garland pose helps release energy, especially stress that may be stuck in the hips, lower back, and legs.
  7. Malasana aids in digestion. The pose almost feels like a massage for my intestines! This Asana is very helpful in proper digestion.
  8. Malasana Decreases  menstruation pain . It is a great pose to do when you find yourself curled up in a ball, in pain and uncomfortable. It opens up the hips and the downward energy allows for some of the intensity and discomfort to release.
